Meet Our Junior High Pastor
Vance Yarbrough is truly committed to junior highers. He thrives on the energy generated by spending time with them. He communicates God's Word to them in a way they can understand. Vance came to Monte Vista Chapel in 1993, and married Gina in 2002. In August of 2006, Vance and Gina were blessed with their first son, Samuel and in December of 2008 God blessed them with a second son, Luke.

Regular Events
WC AM:
This is our Sunday morning program. This occurs every Sunday, 9:15-10:15 a.m., on the 3rd floor of the Tower Building. It is designed to teach the students how the Bible applies to them in their everyday lives and help them apply it. The program includes a time to "hang out", worship through songs & music, and a lesson. Every junior high student should feel comfortable attending this, whether they are a Christian or not, even though it is aimed at the Christian students.
Demolition Team:
Wednesday nights, 6:45-8:15 p.m. from September to May. We meet on the 3rd floor of the Tower Building. During this event we put everyone in small groups to help build relationships with other kids and leaders, and to talk about stuff that the kids will deal with as a junior highers.
